Ms. Vogel institutes new library policies.

Last week, Ms. Vogel sent an all campus e-mail explaining the new policies:

Libraries are places set aside for quiet contemplation, reading and research work. The Palmer Trinity School Library is the designated quiet space on campus. Note that these policies are in effect for the library at all times, including before school, during lunches, and after school.

1.Enter and exit the building quietly.

2.No noise at all in back room on the first floor – this room will be for those that prefer complete silence.

3.Groups of no more than two (2) may whisper quietly about school work in the front room and main lobby area.

5.If you need to socialize, please find another place on campus.

Thank you for your continued observance of the library rules.

Students "tune" in with Mr. Saucedo

Students in Mr. Saucedo's Physics class learned on Monday, Jan. 23 about the different frequencies of tuning forks. Students measured vibrations using their school laptops.

"Just another day in physics class doing our weekly lab," says Alejandro Martinez-Oletta '14, a student in Mr. Saucedo's class who also serves as a Falconer reporter. "Labs are a great way to apply what we are learning to  real life situations. This 'sound lab' has definitely cleared topics of frequency and periods of sound waves for me."
